Carbon Fiber NACA 0012
Analyzing and manufacturing a carbon fiber wing for Aerospace Structures II
This project was a group mission to design a 20 inch long NACA 0012 wing with around 6° of taper. The goal was to make the lightest possible wing that could withstand both static and dynamic load cases. My main role was to manufacture the wing and assist deriving the Rayleigh Ritz deflection code. Unfortunately, the wing kinda sucked, but I blame that on the epoxy saturation, still cool though!
